PhytoFresh on Terranova’s products means that the plants, vegetables, fruits, and herbs are freshly freeze-dried.

Terranova’s ingredients mainly come from the certified farm, Eclectic Institute. Here, the ingredients are hand-harvested at peak levels, then freeze-dried. Peak level means that plants are fully matured before being harvested. This is done by hand to keep the plants intact and prevent damage from machinery. The plants are then freeze-dried within the hour, meaning all liquids, the water, are sublimated, leaving only the complex structure of the plant, with vitamins and minerals. By applying this process, the beautiful, nutritious structure of the plant is preserved for longer and only needs to be lightly ground into powder.

Spirulina is rich in vitamins, proteins, essential amino acids, omega-3 fatty acids, essential fats, and various minerals. Spirulina is one of the richest sources of proteins. 

Chlorella contains 19 types of important amino acids or proteins in large quantities. It contains many healthy fats, including alpha-linolenic acid and omega-3 fats. It has a long list of vitamins: beta-carotene, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B11, B12, biotin, inositol, vitamin C, E, and K. It is quite special that all B-complex vitamins are found in one type of food. Additionally, it contains carotenoids, chlorophyll, fibres, glucosamine, the enzymes chlorophyllase and pepsin, and the minerals calcium, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, iron, zinc, and copper.
