Hello, the packaging states that this vitamin D3 contains no dairy products. Does that automatically mean it is also lactose-free? Given that riboflavin often comes from dairy? Many thanks in advance.

On 04 march 2026 by Customer serviceThere is no problem taking 2 tablets of the Solgar D3 1000 IU. My advise would be to take it together with a meal that has some fat in it. For best absorption of this fat-soluble vitamin. In this dosage it is recommended to take 90 mcg vitamin K2 with it. This balances best with 2000 IU D3. So yes, you can take it together with Orthica K2, but recommended then would also be two capsules.
We have a product from our own brand, Vitamin D3 and K2 this has 1000 IU of D3 already combined with K2 45 mcg in 1 small capsule. These you can also take 2 to get to your desired 2000 IU. This would keep the balance of the two vitamins optimal.
