Hello, do you have taurine supplements without carrageenan (vit store own brand) or cellulose (Solgar) as a filler? These two fillers are very harmful. Preferably vegetarian. Best regards
On 19 november 2024 by Customer serviceThese two additives are certainly not harmful and are therefore used by the best brands when necessary (HPMC in vegetarian capsules and carrageenan in vegetarian softgels). The pseudoscientific booklet on E-numbers is full of incorrect claims, without any references. There is no evidence that carrageenan (from certain seaweeds) or HPMC (processed wood fibres, ingested through the stomach) have harmful properties in these tiny amounts, even when taking several capsules a day.
There is a limited range of products available without these additives. For example, capsules made from gelatin (bone meal), but these have become relatively rare. Especially for taurine, as supplementation of this nutrient is actually recommended for vegans.
Fortunately, taurine is available as loose powder, such as the Taurine Powder from Springfield.
