I have been using Saw Palmetto for years after a hair transplant, on the advice of a friend. My hair remains reasonably thick and the loss is minimal. I suspect that Saw helps with this. In any case, I feel good about it.
After my hair transplant, I started using Saw Palmetto on the advice of my brother. The hair institute recommended finasteride (anti-testosterone) but I didn't want to risk any unpleasant side effects. Of course, it is difficult to measure whether Saw Palmetto prevents hair loss, but so far the transplanted area has not become significantly thinner, which suggests that my own hair is still present. Additionally, Saw Palmetto is also beneficial for the prostate. It costs me €275 per year, but not a single hair on my head thinks about stopping this supplement!

Simple question. I find it difficult to swallow tablets. May I mix the contents of these capsules with water and consume them that way?

I wonder what is better, saw palmetto extract or Berry’s Mvg Vondel

The significant difference, however, is that Saw Palmetto Berry Extract contains a known quantity of active ingredient. This active ingredient, namely the free fatty acids, is responsible for the effect of the Saw Palmetto berry. The amount of active ingredient in Saw Palmetto Berries per capsule is not known. The quantity of active ingredient can vary slightly per capsule and also per batch, whereas the amount of active ingredient in the Berry extract is guaranteed. All capsules contain the same amount of active ingredient, batch after batch. When it is desirable to take exactly the same amount of active ingredient daily, often in a course of treatment, then Saw Palmetto Berry Extract is the best choice. If Saw Palmetto is used for maintenance, then Saw Palmetto Berries will suffice.
