With supplements, it is always good to take a break occasionally, so that your body responds better to it again.

Again, the author of the Jyoti website expresses this incorrectly. It is not the case that bruises are the result of a deficiency of rutin. Rutin is just one of many bioflavonoids (OPC, quercetin, etc.) and nutrients (such as vitamin C, which can indeed be deficient) that all have a positive impact on the condition of blood vessels.
