Vitaminstore is a great place to order my product. The price is good and it arrives within a day, neatly packaged.
Great supplement addition after workout
Good product, very satisfied, however, in 1.5 years it has increased by 10 euros for a regular customer of yours, which I find quite a lot.
Bought 2 bottles with a discount and delivered complete. Product is very satisfactory

WHAT IS THE IMPACT OF THIS PRODUCT ON A DIABETIC PATIENT’S BLOOD SUGAR LEVEL
On 03 september 2026 by Customer serviceThe fact that L-arginine is derived from sugar beet does not mean the capsule contains sugar. The sugar beet is simply the original raw material from which the amino acid is produced and purified. Solgar L-Arginine 500 mg is free from sucrose and, due to its sugar content, will therefore not cause a rise in blood sugar.
L-arginine itself may be involved in insulin release and insulin sensitivity. In studies using significantly higher doses than 500 mg, decreases or improvements in blood sugar regulation have sometimes been observed. One 500 mg capsule is not expected to have a major effect, but in a person with diabetes the response may vary from individual to individual. When used alongside insulin or blood sugar-lowering medication, glucose levels may potentially be slightly lower.
We therefore advise consulting your treating doctor or diabetes nurse before use, and checking blood sugar a little more frequently when starting. Never adjust diabetes medication yourself. This is especially important if you have reduced kidney function, low blood pressure, or are using blood pressure-lowering medication.
From what age can a child take L arginine?
On 11 december 2023 by Customer serviceThis depends on several factors, including the child's height, weight, health, and the reason for taking it. It's best to get in touch with one of our product specialists with this information via chat or at info@vitaminstore.nl.
I had heard that the effects of L-arginine only occur from 1.5 grams onwards. However, the manufacturer of this brand indicates that one capsule is 500 MG and that you should not exceed this 500 MG. Strangely enough, you can take larger amounts of L-arginine from other manufacturers. Could I get more clarification on this and is it safe to take more anyway?
On 29 august 2023 by Customer serviceIt is indeed the case that different manufacturers recommend different dosages for their products. The dosage often depends on the specific formulation of the product and other factors.
It's important to emphasise that we advise you to always follow the manufacturer's recommended dosage unless a healthcare provider advises otherwise. Although L-Arginine is generally considered safe in higher doses of 1.5 grams, taking very high dosages can cause side effects such as stomach upset, blood clotting disorders, and changes in blood sugar levels.
Additionally, L-Arginine can interact with certain medications, so if you are taking any medications, always consult a healthcare provider before starting a new supplement.
