Hello, which multivitamins would you recommend: the Kangavites from Solgar or Orthica Dino (we've been using the latter for 1.5 years now)? How do they compare to each other?

Are these soft and chewable like a gummy sweet? Because the Animal Parade vitamins are also described as chewable, but those are hard sweets.

Hello, I have a little daughter who is 2 years old and a son who is 6 years old. I would like to buy a multivitamin for them. Now it says from 3 years old on the packaging; is this a guideline or is it harmful for under 3 years? I am looking for something for both children. And how much vitamin D3 is in it because I only see D2 listed? While D3 is important, especially for those under 4 years old? Regards, Kimberley
On 23 october 2022 by Customer serviceThe Solgar Kangavites is for children from 3 years old. This is partly because children under 3 years can sometimes choke on a chewable tablet.
Vitamin D2 in the Kangavites is a less easily absorbed form of vitamin D and is also very low dosed, 2.5 mcg. So if you give your children the Kangavites, it is advisable to give additional vitamin D3 alongside it.
You can also give a multivitamin in powder form. The 'Elke Dag' powder from Vitals, for example. This contains the good form of vitamin D3. Additionally, this powder form is also suitable for adults. The advice is 1 scoop for children to take with some water or juice and 2 scoops for adults.
