I am currently taking 1 capsule of 3mg boron per day, while the recommendation for the combination capsule mentioned in the title is 1 capsule 3 times a day. That amounts to 3 x 3mg of boron per day... Isn't that quite a lot?
On 13 january 2026 by Customer serviceThe Calcium Magnesium plus Boron contains 1 mg of Boron per tablet. The maximum safe upper limit set by the EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) is 10 mg. So, with 6 mg per day (3 mg of Boron and 3 x 1 mg of boron in the Calcium Magnesium plus Boron), you are still below the upper limit. The daily recommendation is usually 3 mg of Boron, which is why it is advised to keep the 3 mg Boron if you are going to use the Calcium Magnesium plus Boron 3 times a day.
May I take the daily dosage all at once, or should I take one three times a day? Regards, Roswitha
On 31 october 2024 by Customer serviceThe daily dosage of Solgar Calcium Magnesium plus Boron is three tablets. You may take these three tablets all at once. However, some people find it preferable to spread the dosage throughout the day, for instance, one tablet with each meal. This might enhance the absorption of the minerals in your body.
Ultimately, the most important thing is to take the supplements in a way that works best for you!
When should one order these and when should one opt for Solgar's bone support?
On 20 august 2024 by Customer serviceThe choice between these two products depends on your specific needs. If you're looking for a straightforward supplement that primarily provides calcium and magnesium, then the Calcium Magnesium plus Boron might be a good choice. If you're after a more comprehensive formula that also includes other nutrients important for bone health, then you might consider opting for the Ultimate Bone Support.
My question is whether you should take the daily dose of 3 tablets all at once? Or 1 tablet 3 times spread throughout the day?
On 01 june 2023 by Customer serviceYou can take it spread throughout the day, for example, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner. However, you may also take all 3 at once in the morning, if you prefer.
