High-quality maca, no [...] after taking the supplement for 6 weeks. Do continue using it to maintain the desired result. Absolutely recommended!
After 14 days, I noticed a huge difference... no more hot flushes... hormones in balance... better sleep... much less stress, which makes me feel calmer... less hunger and reduced appetite... I take 1 capsule in the morning after eating... the only downside is... if one can call it a downside... is that it significantly increases your libido...
What a fantastic product. I noticed a difference in my energy levels very quickly.
After a week and a half, I already felt like it was working. Now I am sure of it! Fewer mood swings and fewer hot flashes! This with just 2 capsules a day. I am pleased with it. And so are the people around me ;)
Good composition in capsule, delivered quickly.
Royal Green certified organic Maca
While many people know Maca (Lepidium Meyenii Walpers) as a plant, only a few experience the maximum potency of Maca! The reason for this is the low quality of the light yellow, sweet-smelling Maca powders available. These are often not certified organic, processed with high heat, and contain fillers (corn & rice powder) and sometimes even maltodextrin or sugar!
Royal Green Maca 6:1 concentration
Our unique production process results in a Maca that is concentrated under a temperature of no more than 45 degrees Celsius. Often, Maca is heated to 100-120 degrees Celsius! Royal Green thus delivers a 'raw' highly concentrated & 100% certified organic Maca. Not heated, not irradiated, and free from fillers. We deliver our Maca in a high 6:1 concentration and in its entire form (nothing is lost during the extraction process). As much as 6 kilos of fresh Maca is concentrated into 1 kilo of pure powder!
Dark Maca roots
For the Royal Green 100% certified organic Maca, we use 80% black, 15% purple & 5% yellow roots of the highest quality. This provides the most complete nutrient profile, resulting in maximum efficacy.
Vitamins & minerals
The positive properties of Maca are attributed to the naturally occurring vitamins, minerals, and essential amino acids. The active substances of this Maca are delivered in high concentration, including calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron, silica, and traces of iodine, manganese, zinc, and copper. These play an important role in maintaining strong bones. In 1997, Dr. Chacon demonstrated that Maca contains no less than 31 easily absorbable minerals. Maca also contains vitamins B1, B2, C, and E.
Adaptogen
Maca is classified as an "adaptogenic" plant because the nutrients in Maca can support stress, tension, and fatigue. For those who are not feeling well, tense, or tired, Royal Green Maca will provide powerful support.
Vitality enhancing
Royal Green certified organic Maca helps to increase vitality. Maca is also known as the Peruvian ginseng and referred to as 'the aphrodisiac of the Incas'.
Menopause
If you suffer from menopause symptoms such as hot flashes and mood swings, Royal Green Maca offers 100% organic support.
Maca does not contain plant hormones, but it helps the body to be in better condition to provide powerful support for menopause symptoms.

I used maca capsules and subsequently experienced stomach issues. I believe maca might be the cause, but I'm not entirely sure. Could this be the case? And if so, what should I do? I did benefit from it quite a lot. I look forward to hearing from you. Best regards, Bertine
It's possible that using raw maca can cause digestive issues, as the starch in it isn't easily digestible for everyone. The advice is to temporarily reduce the dosage to zero and see if the symptoms disappear. If the symptoms do fade away, gradually increase the dosage. The recommendation is 3 capsules per day, so initially start with 1 capsule per day to allow your digestion to adjust. Then, you can slowly increase the dosage to 2 capsules per day.
Hello... The first time I took Maca (Royal Green) it helped a lot... then I didn't take it for a while and now I've been taking it again for 3 weeks and it doesn't seem to help anymore... I would appreciate your advice, please...
Most studies on the effects of Maca have been conducted with dosages of at least 2000 mg (the equivalent of 4 capsules) per day for at least two months.
The manufacturer suggests a guideline dosage of "1 to 3 capsules per day", but if that proves insufficient, you can comfortably increase the dosage to 4 or even 10 capsules per day (equating to 2000 to 5000 mg per day). However, in this regard, it is much more cost-effective to use loose powder.
Using 1 capsule per day (500 mg) is of little use. There is no scientific evidence that such a low dose is beneficial.
Can I take maca during a course of Roaccutane?
Yes, that is not a problem. Maca does not affect the action of Roaccutane, or vice versa.
Hello... It seems that Maca causes side effects according to what I've read on the internet... namely a thick neck "goitre"... has anyone experienced side effects after prolonged use of Maca, please...? I am (was) taking Maca from Royal Green... a very good supplement... but I hesitate to take it anymore... I would love to hear your responses... Kind regards, Anika.
I see that various Dutch websites all uncritically repeat the same sentence about glucosinolates. None of these statements mention how much Maca one would need to consume, and for how long, to reach a toxic dose. There are also no references to practical cases where this side effect has occurred.
Glucosinolates are also found in, among other things, radishes, mustard seeds, cabbage, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, watercress, pak choi, and cauliflower. So it's unnecessary panic-mongering.
I have just searched through several English-language websites, but I couldn't find anything about goitre as a result of Maca consumption.
The only side effect that can be definitively linked to the use of Maca is mild abdominal pain immediately after ingesting several grams of Maca. This abdominal pain is related to the presence of certain tough fibres in Maca that, when consumed in excessive amounts at once, can cause some temporary digestive issues. The Maca capsules from Royal Green contain only half a gram of Maca powder each. To experience abdominal pain from that, you would need to take about 10 capsules at once.
When reading websites, forums, and blogs, keep in mind that there are many incorrect claims among them. In this case, it appears that a fact (namely that Maca naturally contains glucosinolates) is being completely misinterpreted ("Maca causes goitre"). As is the case with all substances (including E-numbers, etc.) and foods, it is the dose that determines whether something is healthy, safe, or unhealthy and unsafe. Brussels sprouts are healthy, but you shouldn't eat five kilograms of them every day. With normal use of Maca, up to about 5 grams of powder per day, no unwanted side effects are to be expected. The capsules from Royal Green are safe to use.
