An ideal odourless and tasteless fat for stir-frying or baking at higher temperatures, as it doesn't burn quickly, thus preventing the release of carcinogenic substances. Just shy of 5 stars because it comes in a plastic tub (which doesn't state that it is BPA-free).

Although various sites claim that you shouldn't use 'deodorised' coconut oil because it's no longer healthy, I think this variant is quite acceptable as the deodorisation process is mild. Moreover, this brand takes its products and the health of its customers very seriously. For those who still insist on using deodorised coconut oil (perhaps because you can't tolerate the taste), I think this is the best choice. The only downside is that it comes in a plastic jar (BPA?) and it's harder, making it less spreadable.
Upon arrival of the order of 2 pots of coconut oil of 2.5 litres, it turned out that 1 pot was severely damaged during transport. After contacting customer service, we received a new pot of coconut oil the very next day. What a fantastic service.

On 12 may 2020 by Customer serviceYes, this is indeed correct. The deodorisation of coconut oil can be seen as a processing step or a form of refining. Therefore, deodorised coconut oil cannot be labelled as 'raw', but rather as extra virgin. Extra virgin means that the coconut oil comes from the first pressing. If you do not find the aroma and taste of coconut oil disruptive in your dishes, then unrefined coconut oil is preferable over deodorised coconut oil, as it retains more of its original nutrients than the deodorised variant.
Hello, is this, which is currently 2 for €1, an extra virgin? It states by the deep fryer: only liquid fats. No hardened fats. Coconut oil is initially solid, isn't it? Could that be harmful to the deep fryer? Thank you!
On 28 april 2020 by Customer serviceCooking Cream Odourless is not extra virgin as this coconut oil has undergone processing; the oil is deodorised. Furthermore, the quality is comparable to Cooking Cream Extra Virgin. Both coconut oil products are resistant to high temperatures and can therefore also be used in the deep fryer. The smoke point of refined coconut oil is around 230 degrees.
Not everyone appreciates the coconut flavour that the Extra Virgin variant imparts to fried foods; hence, for frying, Cooking Cream Odourless is preferred.
