In nature, not only d-alpha-tocopherol is found, but also other forms: d-beta-, d-gamma-, and d-delta-tocopherol. Besides the vitamin E effect (fertility), these forms have an antioxidant effect that is 5 to 18 times higher than Vitamin A, D, and E. These vitamins are fat-soluble, which means they are partially stored in the fatty tissue. For optimal absorption, they are best taken with a warm meal.
