Vitamin C1500 is not readily available everywhere, yet it is truly an indispensable vitamin supplement for smokers among us. Smoking breaks down the vitamin C in our bodies. Of course, quitting smoking is always the wiser choice, but that is another chapter. I am very pleased that you have this vitamin, in this strength from Orthica, in your package. I find it very beneficial.
For optimal effectiveness, you do need flavonoids. I have been using this combination for 25 years.
Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin. It is the most widely used and prevalent vitamin. It is essential for the formation of collagen, which supports the firmness of the skin. Collagen is found throughout the body. This contribution to collagen formation is therefore important not only for the skin but also for blood vessels, cartilage, bones, teeth, and gums. Additionally, vitamin C has an antioxidative function. Orthica offers a wide range of vitamin C products. Almost all products contain bioflavonoids and/or rosehip extract.

One tablet contains: Vitamin C (ascorbic acid with rosehip extract) 1500 mg. Excipients: Dicalcium phosphate, vegetable fat, microcrystalline cellulose, stearic acid, silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, HPMC (coating).
Take 1 tablet daily, preferably with a meal.

I see so many different types of Orthica vitamin C that I don't know which one I should take. I want to take them for fatigue, immunity, and to improve my skin.
On 25 october 2021 by Customer serviceThere are two variants of the standard vitamin C (ascorbic acid), in a tablet of 1000 or 1500 mg. The 1500 mg variant is quite large and may be difficult to swallow if you have trouble with that. The 1000 mg variant is the most common vitamin C (also a large tablet but significantly smaller than the 1500 mg).
Finally, there is the Ester-C 500 mg. In this product, the vitamin C is bound to calcium, making it non-acidic in the stomach. Ester-C is well absorbed and remains effective in the body for a long time. The tablets are somewhat smaller than the two mentioned above, as each tablet provides 500 mg of vitamin C.
(The Dino Ester C from Orthica is a chewable tablet for toddlers.)
They can all be used for the same purposes. A good guideline is between 1000 and 3000 mg of vitamin C per day.
For immunity, it is advisable not only to take extra vitamin C but also to include vitamin A, vitamin D, and the mineral zinc. You can combine any of the above vitamin C options with, for example, Orthica's Strata Fem. The Strata Fem provides 150 mg of vitamin C per tablet.
