Excellent supplement
Used after surgery with antibiotics to restore balance. This 10-day course works brilliantly! Absolutely recommended!
I used it because I was prescribed a course of antibiotics and it helped me a lot; I didn't experience any nausea or diarrhoea.
A nice boost. However, it tastes incredibly bad... fast delivery.
Fast and easy delivery. I have no idea if the probiotics work, as I don't notice anything in particular. It would be nice if the shipping costs were always free!

Orthiflor Plus consists of ten synergistically working natural gut bacteria with a high germination capacity for building a balanced gut flora. Moreover, Orthiflor Plus is composed of 50% oligofructose. Oligofructose fibres act as a prebiotic. Oligofructose stimulates the growth of bifidobacteria in the large intestine and also enhances the action of the already present bifidobacteria and lactobacilli in Orthiflor Plus.

Can Orthiflor be used if you are also taking a stomach acid reducer, such as omeprazole? Does omeprazole affect its efficacy?

This protein isolate serves the function of Pro-Motor, a chain of amino acids that promotes active bacteria to divide more rapidly and withstand the acidic environment of the stomach better. The Pro-Motor allows the probiotics to be taken immediately after mixing with water and stirring, without requiring a 15-minute activation time.
All Orthiflor products are cultivated on a substrate of cow's milk protein. The final product, the bacteria themselves, are tested for the presence of cow's milk protein and lactose, among other things. In the bacteria as they are present in the Orthiflor products, cow's milk and lactose are not analyzable; however, there is a slight chance that traces of cow's milk protein may be found in Orthiflor.
It is possible that, due to this small chance of traces of cow's milk protein, someone with a severe cow's milk protein allergy could react."
