Looking for a mild vitamin C? C-500 PureWay is available in packs of 60 or 120 tablets and contains 500 mg of vitamin C per tablet as PureWay-C™. Due to encapsulation in lipid metabolites (plant-based fatty accompanying substances), this form is non-acidic for the stomach and intestines, better absorbable, and longer active in the body than other forms of vitamin C.
Why is vitamin C important?
Vitamin C supports the body's defences and contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system. As an antioxidant, vitamin C helps protect healthy body cells. Additionally, vitamin C has a beneficial effect on reducing fatigue and tiredness and helps release energy from fats, carbohydrates, and proteins. Vitamin C also promotes the absorption of iron from food and the uptake of iron into the blood. Moreover, vitamin C is important for the good condition of blood vessels. Vitamin C also supports the normal functioning of the nervous system and is good for memory. By taking an additional 200 mg of vitamin C alongside the daily dose of 80 mg recommended by the Nutrition Centre, vitamin C contributes to maintaining good resistance during and after physical exertion.

Ascorbic acid (PureWay-C™), filler (microcrystalline cellulose, hydroxypropylcellulose), anti-caking agent (magnesium stearate, stearic acid), glazing agent (hydroxypropylmethylcellulose).
Does not contain:
Yeast, sucrose, synthetic preservatives, synthetic colour, fragrance, and flavouring agents.
Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
For maintenance, the recommended dosage is 1 tablet per day, preferably taken during or after a meal.
The maximum dosage is 2 tablets per day, unless otherwise advised.
Do not exceed the maximum daily dosage.

During pregnancy, the need for vitamin C increases from 70 to 90 mg per day, and during breastfeeding, it rises to 110 mg per day. Most vitamin C can be obtained from food, but sometimes you need extra, for example, to support your immune system. Vitamin C supports your immune system and enhances the absorption of iron.
