Good product!
Because I am using a medication that makes me very tired, my GP advised me to start taking extra vitamin B12. The initial results seem positive, but I have only been doing it for a few weeks.

High Dose
The B12 lozenges are highly dosed with 1000 mcg per tablet (daily dosage). This way, the tablets help neutralise a potential deficiency of this vitamin. Since vitamin B12 is water-soluble, no upper limit has been established and a high dosage is not harmful.
Do you need extra vitamin B12?
Vitamin B12 is especially recommended for vegetarians and vegans, as they receive little or no vitamin B12 from (animal) foods.

Why only from 10 years old?
On 02 july 2021 by Customer service12 years is considered the safety age. However, vitamin B12 1000 mcg is also suitable for children under 12 years. The dosage should be adjusted accordingly. For very young children up to 7 years, we recommend a quarter of this lozenge, and for children aged 7-12, half of this lozenge or one lozenge every other day. From 12 years onwards, one lozenge can be taken daily.
Is this product suitable for children aged 3 (almost 4) and 6? Instead of every day, for example, 2 times a week? If not, which supplement containing vitamin B12 is suitable for children? We have not eaten meat for a month (the children still have chicken once a week).
On 06 february 2020 by Customer serviceActually, this product is suitable for children aged 12 and over, but when the dosage is adjusted, younger children can also take this B12 lozenge. Give children between 3 and 6 years half a tablet every 2 days. This is a good maintenance dosage.

From Ortholon, there is the Vitamin B12 methylcobalamin 1000 mcg.
Methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin are both highly absorbable. A tablet does not necessarily need to contain both variants; just methylcobalamin is perfectly fine.
There is, however, a combination (50% of each variant) in the Vitamin B12 1000 mcg from Vitals and in the Organic Active Vitamin B12 from Essential Organics Puur.
