A kilogram pot is only useful if you have a family with 10 children. The ascorbic acid tastes pleasantly sour (sour mat), but before you know it, you can easily take too much and then you end up with diarrhoea. I no longer buy it.
Comes with a handy measuring spoon, recommended to store it in smaller doses afterwards (dry!). The product provides the necessary vitamin C boost, you can "play" with the doses depending on your needs. In short, great product!
Vitamin C is water-soluble, which means the body cannot store it. A new dose is required daily.

On 12 october 2017 by Customer serviceIn the Vitamin C powder calcium ascorbate from Vitals, the vitamin C is bound to calcium, making the product less acidic and therefore a bit more stomach-friendly (this is particularly important for people with a sensitive stomach). Calcium is also good for, among other things, the bones. And in their Vitamin C powder magnesium ascorbate , the vitamin C is bound to magnesium, a mineral that is good for the muscles. Magnesium ascorbate is slightly more acidic than calcium ascorbate. Neither product contains artificial additives, and both can be used during pregnancy without concern. Given the increased need for calcium during pregnancy, the calcium ascorbate variant is especially recommended.

At a dosage of 3 grams per day for one person, this container will last for 11 months. Ensure that the container is opened in a dry area each time (not in a damp kitchen), otherwise the powder may clump together after a few months.
At a dosage of 3 x 3 grams daily, the container will last just over three months.
If you do not intend to use high dosages and are not sharing the container with others, it is advisable to take out a quantity of powder that will last you a week. Place this powder in a separate container for daily use. Keep the original container well sealed in a cool, dry place (away from damp coats, towels, etc.). This way, the supply will remain good for much longer.
