Has an orange scent. I use it for my eyes. (recommended after laser eye surgery)
This is the first omega product that genuinely has no fishy aftertaste. My sons enjoy taking it, and it has remarkably improved their concentration.
Easy to take, with an orange flavour. I started using it for mental balance, and after about 14 days, I really noticed a clear difference. Furthermore, it's of course healthy for various other reasons, especially if you don't eat much oily fish. I am very pleased with this supplement.
At the moment, I am on my second jar of MorEPA Plus. It’s great that you only need to take one capsule a day. I exercise seven days a week, and this is an excellent support to get some much-needed fats.

Ingredients
Deep-sea FISH oil concentrate (from anchovy, sardine, and mackerel), FISH gelatin, humectant: glycerol, natural orange flavour, antioxidant: mix of rosemary and tocopherol-rich extract.
For adults, take 1 to 4 softgels per day with a meal and water.
The daily intake of EPA+DHA should not exceed 5 g.

I would like to give my daughter a higher dosage of EPA and DHA. Is a dosage of two Morepa Plus softgels possible for a 12-year-old?

I have been using Morepa Plus for years, taking 1 tablet as a maintenance dose. However, now that I am pregnant, I want to be sure if I can continue using it and at what dosage?
On 14 october 2019 by Customer serviceYes, MorEPA Plus can be used throughout the entire pregnancy. Two capsules a day is more than sufficient.
However, this brand also offers a formula specifically for use during pregnancy, the MorDHA. So when your pot of MorEPA Plus runs out, you can switch to that. The difference between the two is particularly relevant for the later stages of pregnancy, not so much for the first few weeks/months. MorDHA is a one-per-day formula.
On 01 march 2018 by Customer serviceFrom around 7 years old, if you do not want to use fish oil for general maintenance but for therapeutic purposes (as is the case here), it is better to choose a fish oil that contains extra EPA. Of the Minami fish oil variants, the MorEPA Mini Junior Strawberry is the best choice. This provides a total of 490 mg EPA and 109 mg DHA per daily dosage of two capsules. A daily intake of 109 mg DHA is excellent.
Both fatty acids are important and have shown promising results in preliminary studies. However, the body has a somewhat higher requirement for DHA during the first 5 to 7 years of life, while the need for EPA relatively increases for older children and adults. Both fatty acids remain important.
The Smart Fats and MorEPA Plus are also fine, but they do not have added flavour and may therefore be less pleasant to take. If your daughter does not mind, then it is certainly fine. But it is not absolutely necessary. The MorEPA Mini is perfectly suitable for a 6-year-old.
These types of capsules contain only a small amount of vitamin E (in the MorEPA Plus only 4.5 mg), to protect the fish oil in the capsule from oxidation. The Elke Dag Junior Stevia (children's multi) provides 24 mg per tablet. A total amount of 28.5 mg is well within safe limits for a 6-year-old. When using fish oil, the need for vitamin E increases, and it is better to have a little more than necessary than too little.

Alternatively, you could opt for the MorEPA Platinum 1000 IU vitamin D, as it provides 1100 mg of omega-3 fatty acids per capsule, along with 1000 IU of vitamin D. You can also combine this with a multi and possibly an extra vitamin D supplement (as long as the total amount of vitamin D remains below 100 mcg, it's perfectly fine).
