Fine, I've had a clearer head since using omega 3. And this is the highest concentration and also the most purified variant I have been able to find.

Can I take this fish oil alongside extra-strong vitamin D3 75?
On 25 february 2026 by Customer serviceTo correct low blood levels (<50 nmol/L), in practice a higher temporary dosage is often used: 25–75 micrograms (1,000–3,000 IU) per day for a few months. The upper limit (UL) for long-term daily intake is set at: 100 micrograms (4,000 IU) per day. If no deficiency has been confirmed by a blood test, we do not advise taking 100 mcg daily.
Minami’s Platinum fish oil contains 25 mcg of vitamin D3 per capsule. If you combine this with 75 mcg from the extra-strong D3 from our own brand, you reach this higher dosage. If you would still like to use an omega-3 product, I recommend choosing one without D3. A comparable strength to Platinum is Omega 3 extra strong.
If you want to continue taking the same dosage of vitamin D3, it is also advised to combine it with vitamin K2. *Vitamin K supports mineral absorption in the bones. This Vegan D3 K2 contains the ideal ratio for this.
*Legally permitted health claim
These capsules are too large for me to swallow. I now cut them open and mix the oil into a smoothie. I noticed that the capsule wall was rather stiff and thick. Is this for a specific reason? Perhaps for delayed release? Or does it not matter that I consume the fish oil this way?
On 01 november 2020 by Customer serviceYou are always allowed to open or break capsules, softgels, or tablets. The thick, stiff wall is solely for durability and to protect the product.
Is it true that there is beef gelatin in this? In the other variants, there is fish gelatin. Could you please check this?
On 17 march 2020 by Customer serviceWe have double-checked and it is indeed true that this product contains beef gelatin.
On 02 september 2016 by Customer serviceThe MorEPA Platinum (improved formula) in combination with the Mega Vites is certainly an excellent combination. In autumn, winter, and spring, you might consider adding a 25 microgram capsule, such as the Super D3 25 mcg (1000 IU).
On 26 july 2016 by Customer service"In a recent study comparing the absorption of EPA and DHA in the form of triglycerides over the long term with ethyl esters, it was found that the triglyceride form is even better absorbed. Minami has succeeded in offering EPA and DHA in this triglyceride form in very high concentrations, which previously was not technically possible in such high dosages per capsule."
The dosage recommendation has also been adjusted from 1 capsule per day to 1 to 3 capsules per day. Based on this higher dosage recommendation, the manufacturer is allowed to make the following two health claims:
"EPA and DHA contribute to the maintenance of normal blood pressure with a daily intake of 3 g EPA+DHA (3 softgels/day).
EPA and DHA contribute to the maintenance of normal triglyceride levels in the blood with a daily intake of 2 g EPA+DHA (2 softgels/day)."
