Is your MCT oil from Mattisson organic? Is 100% MCT coconut oil better than a blend? Approximately how many tablespoons do you need to notice results? What temperature does it reach when frying in a frying pan?
On 19 november 2024 by Customer serviceThe coconut, palm seed, and rapeseed oils in the blended variant are not from organic cultivation. The C8 variant is also not organic.
The use of this product does not necessarily yield noticeable or measurable results. We offer it as an alternative to other fats, although it is true that it can also be used for therapeutic purposes.
When frying in a frying pan, the oil will reach temperatures between 100 and 150 degrees, well below 177 degrees. Deep frying requires temperatures of around 200 degrees, so the oil is not suitable for that. It is also not suitable for stir-frying (between 160 °C and 240 °C).
For therapeutic purposes, the preference is for the C8 variant as it contains a higher percentage of caprylic acid, specifically 99% instead of 60%. As a general guideline, a daily intake of two tablespoons is recommended for therapeutic use.
