This powder has been a favourite for our homemade smoothies, but the last time it wasn't the same, unfortunately. It seems as though they have changed the recipe (?) and it no longer tastes sweet. Very disappointing. 😥
It is a good addition to my vegan diet. The taste takes some getting used to. However, the added vanilla aroma makes up for a lot. It mixes well with fruit and vegetable shakes.
I make a daily smoothie with frozen berries, vegetables, seeds, green tea, and full-fat yoghurt, and this protein powder blends in really well! It’s quite filling too.
Initially, I was looking for a high-quality, plant-based protein powder, but not from soy, as my diet does not allow it. From experience, I know that various protein powders can be quite unpalatable. However, this one is excellent! It has a pleasant vanilla flavour, which is lovely after exercising. This is particularly enjoyable, as I take the powder with me to the gym, so I can only mix it in a cup and cannot blend it with fruits or anything else for flavour. Protein-rich foods fit well within my diet, and I see this shake as a treat and reward after intense cardio and strength training!
This product is hypoallergenic, non-GMO, and contains no yeast, dairy products, corn, beeswax, soy, flavourings, colourings, or preservatives.

What can you dissolve the protein in? Water isn't tasty. Why shouldn't you stir?
On 31 march 2025 by Customer serviceStirring creates lumps. Shaking (in a shaker bottle) or blending yields better results. You can dissolve the Absolute Pea Protein Vanilla in almond milk, rice milk, soy milk, or blend it into a smoothie.
