What is the difference between 100, 250, and 500 in honey?
On 01 february 2020 by Customer serviceThe MGO+ numbers 100, 250, and 500 refer to the amount of methylglyoxal (MGO) in Manuka honey. The higher the number, the greater the amount of methylglyoxal. Since methylglyoxal determines the bio-active potency of Manuka, it follows that a higher MGO+ number indicates a greater bio-active potency of the Manuka.
