Hello. I am taking Multi Guard on the advice of my homeopath. Two a day because my haemoglobin is 6.8. Now my stool is dark brown, could this be due to the Multi? Best, Leny.
On 23 june 2014 by Customer serviceYour question is not entirely clear, as stool is always brown (and dark brown is quite normal). Are you referring to your urine? If so, the answer is no, the Multi Guard cannot change urine to dark brown. If that is the case, you should consult your GP.
This product can safely be taken at double the dose temporarily (so 2 per day, as your homeopath has prescribed).

I have been taking Multi Guard for years because I have Crohn's disease.
My father has haemochromatosis, so is there too much iron in the tablets for me?

As a descendant of someone with haemochromatosis, you do indeed have a chance of having it yourself, but that is not always the case. This would need to be determined through testing. If haemochromatosis is present, then 14 mg of iron is indeed too much.

I received a recommendation for a good multivitamin from a friend of mine from Lamberts. It is intended for my partner who is recovering from a [.....]. Which one would be the best for him? And for myself? I am looking for some good support to get through the winter (I am healthy, 35 years old and female). And is this also suitable for my healthy mother who is 62? She has no specific complaints, it is also for her support during the winter. Thank you in advance for your response!

Therefore, your mother would be better off using another multivitamin, such as the Multi 50 +.
Another option (for you and your partner) is the Super Multi, which is more comprehensive than the Multi Guard.

I have been taking Multi Guard for a few days now, but my urine is very yellow. Am I getting too many vitamins and minerals?

Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) is also used as a colouring agent in products like vanilla custard. The extra excretion through urine is nothing to worry about. This effect occurs with all higher-dosed multivitamins.

A natural health practitioner has prescribed this supplement to me at a dosage of twice daily, once in the morning and once in the afternoon before 6:00 PM. Now my question is, is this daily dosage not too high? I need to take this dosage for the first two weeks, and then the dosage as stated on the packaging. Thank you in advance.
