It's a shame that there is no information provided with the product. I didn't realise that I needed to grind it first. This can be done easily with a coffee grinder. I also don't know if I need to wash it first, or what the recommended dosage is.
Customer service"We usually leave the advice on the use of herbs to the person prescribing/advocating the product, such as a naturopath or someone who has undergone training.
In this case, I can provide a general guideline.
Dosage: 1 to 2 grams per day, preferably taken in the morning.
The berries should be used for about 4 – 6 months consecutively.
They can indeed be ground and taken with some water, juice, or yoghurt.
Alternatively, you can pour some hot water over the berries in the evening, let them steep, and take them the following morning.
For culinary use, they should either be ground or cooked with the dish. Dosage to taste.
As with spices, it is not common for herbs to be washed before use."
Packaging contains coarse monk's pepper, but it can be ground into powder with a coffee grinder. The taste is still quite decent when mixed with, for example, yoghurt.
