I read everywhere that damiana can have a regulating effect on female hormones, but does it also affect the contraceptive pill?

I cannot confirm that damiana has a regulating effect on female hormones. To my knowledge, such an effect has not yet been scientifically proven, and even if such an effect were discovered, it would likely be very mild. Damiana certainly does not have an oestrogenic effect.
On the other hand, there is nothing wrong with trying it for a month or two to see how it works for you.
