Garcinia

The percentage is not important. The effectiveness is determined by the number of milligrams of HCA (hydroxycitric acid) that you consume each day. Of course, it is beneficial if a capsule contains a high percentage of HCA, but if the capsule is very small, that high percentage is of little use. The number of capsules you take each day ultimately determines the effectiveness.

The Garcinia contains approximately 100 mg of HCA per capsule. This corresponds to about 25% of the total weight, which is a relatively low percentage. The available studies have been conducted with doses ranging from 900 to 2800 mg of HCA per day, so you would need to take a considerable number of these capsules to achieve such doses.

The Hydroxy Citrate from Solgar provides 250 mg of HCA per capsule. With four capsules a day, you would obtain a reasonable dose.

The same dose is found in the HCA hydroxy citric acid from Viridian.
