Excellent effectiveness. I dissolve it in olive oil for easier intake and better absorption.
This is the best and purest form of vitamin C. Some vitamin C is derived from, for example, fermented corn, which you should definitely avoid if you already have too much histamine in your body. Taking it with a teaspoon of nigella sativa works perfectly.

My son always takes 333 Vitamin C Ascorbyl Palmitate with water. Is the absorption and efficacy optimal this way?

I am looking for a vitamin C supplement for our dog. It seems better not to choose a vitamin C with a calcium or magnesium compound. Our dog reacts quickly to an excess of calcium in his diet. I was thinking of ascorbic acid myself, but I am not familiar with this variant ascorbyl palmitate. From another question, I understand that this is fat-soluble? And that there is then more risk of overdose? What exactly is the situation? And what dosage would you recommend for a 13 kg dog?

If you notice that your dog is sensitive to calcium, you can opt for ascorbic acid, magnesium ascorbate, or ascorbyl palmitate. Among these, the latter two forms of vitamin C are preferred. On 28 april 2019 by Customer serviceIn terms of application, the fat-soluble variant is sometimes chosen when using vitamin C with regard to lipid (fat-like) structures in the body such as the skin, the brain, the liver, the reproductive organs, etc., because ascorbyl palmitate would theoretically (!) reach these organs better. I say theoretically because there is no evidence that it is actually more effective. However, some therapists specifically prescribe ascorbyl palmitate instead of ascorbic acid, ascorbate, or Ester-C.

And of course, only for those water-soluble vitamins for which there is no risk of overdose. Vitamin C is a particularly safe substance, even in high dosages. If you were to take 10,000 mg of vitamin C (16,670% RDA) per day, the only expected side effect would be diarrhoea.
For a larger build, it may be better to take a bit more. Dosages of 1000 to 3000 mg per day are not uncommon.
