Alka Tabs Calcium is an acid/base product and is beneficial for the {***} It protects {***}. Good for preventing excess {***}.
Purchased due to {***}. When I got that, I started with the alkaline diet as mentioned by Alka and used all the products. Also, these tablets 3 times a day, and within two weeks I was already free from the very painful {***}. Occasionally (when it's on offer) I start it again as a course. I really think it works, but in combination with the other products and what works acidifying as food (against {***}). Expensive, but for me, it works.
Very satisfied with the product, the swift delivery, and the excellent provision of information.
I truly need this product.

What makes the BasenCaps special?
The special capsules have an acid-resistant capsule shell. This means the ingredients do not come into contact with stomach acid. The capsules gradually dissolve in the intestines, after which the ingredients are absorbed through the intestinal wall.

Calcium carbonate, acid-resistant vegetable capsule (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, pectin), rice fibres, rice flour, zinc citrate.
The recommended dosage is 1 capsule twice a day directly before, during, or after a meal.
For children aged 12 and over, the dosage is 1 capsule per day.

Can these calcium tablets be taken at the same time as my pantoprazole stomach protector?
On 02 february 2024 by Customer serviceIt is generally safe to use Alka Tabs Calcium alongside stomach protectors like pantoprazole. Alka Tabs Calcium is specifically designed with an enteric coating, which means it is not neutralised by stomach acid.
Isn't calcium carbonate one of those compounds that is less readily absorbed by the body? I'm deliberating between the magnesium and calcium tablets from Alka tabs. I'm particularly interested in replenishing the bicarbonate buffer. Does one of these two perhaps provide more bicarbonate than the other? Or does it make no difference?
On 07 september 2020 by Customer serviceAlthough calcium carbonate is an inorganic calcium compound, it is reasonably well absorbed. Naturally, for optimal absorption, preference is given to an organic calcium compound such as magnesium citrate, calcium bisglycinate, or calcium from a natural source (e.g. from red algae).
If you want to stimulate the body's own bicarbonate production and increase buffer capacity, the best choice is Alka drops. By adding Alka Drops to drinking water, alkaline water is created. This water temporarily changes the acidity in the stomach. Our body quickly corrects this by producing more acid for the stomach, and at the same time, bicarbonate is produced and released into the blood via the stomach wall cells.
