Cat's Claw

The cat's claw (Uncaria tomentosa), better known as Cat's Claw, is a climbing plant from the Amazon region. It is traditionally used to support the natural immune system. Among the Spanish population, the vine is known as uña de gato, and among indigenous shamans as vilcacora.

The inner bark contains the highest concentration of active substances.

Some Cat's Claw products are free from tetracyclic oxindole alkaloids. These can be identified by "Samento" or "TAO-free" in the product name.
