When you think of apple cider vinegar, you think of Bragg! Perhaps the most well-known brand when it comes to vinegar made from apples. It was founded by the American Paul Bragg, born in 1895, and was ahead of his time! As an advocate of a healthy lifestyle, he was already promoting a natural diet of organic fruits and vegetables, regular fasting, strength training, and breathing exercises in the early 20th century to live as long and happily as possible.

The Start of Bragg Company

After Paul Bragg himself struggled with various health issues, he began to delve into nutrition and health. Inspired by his quest for the ultimate healthy lifestyle, he opened his first health food store in 1912 as a true pioneer. From there, he developed further and advised many on nutrition and exercise (including Olympic athletes), wrote several books, and spoke at events to share his views on good health with others.

Bragg Legacy

Paul Bragg passed away in 1976, but his legacy continued. His daughter-in-law Patricia Bragg took over the company and carried on his philosophy. She is now 91 years old and has recently announced that American celebrities Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have become co-owners of the Bragg empire. Although the brand became especially well-known for its Apple Cider Vinegar, they produce many other products such as olive oil, juices, amino acid complexes, herb mixes, and salad dressings.
