
What to Do About Scars
Through consistent treatment, you can often reduce the visibility of scars on your own. The younger the scar tissue, the better the skin will respond to the treatment. However, even older scars remain sensitive and can gradually become less visible with a bit of patience.
Step 1: Massage
Massage the scar every evening, taking a break every third day. Start with a gentle massage using a scrub glove until the skin turns slightly pink, stimulating blood circulation and nutrient supply. Finish with a rolling massage using wooden rollers to invigorate the skin cells and make the skin firmer. Note: do not massage open wounds!
TIP! Rubbing recent scars and wounds with onions can prevent the overproduction of collagen, which is the main cause of thickened scars.
Step 2: Apply Cream
After the massage, apply Aloe Vera gel and vitamin E oil to the scar.
Aloe Vera gel contains proteins, minerals, and vitamins that assist skin cells in their repair work. The gel from this plant accelerates skin recovery by up to seven times. You can also support the process from within by taking Aloe Vera capsules.
Vitamin E
Vitamin E helps protect cell membranes from free radicals due to its antioxidant properties, keeps red blood vessels healthy, and ensures the proper functioning of nerve and muscle tissue. Vitamin E oil is the most commonly used vitamin for fading and removing scars. The easiest and most hygienic method is to use softgels. Puncture the softgel and massage the entire contents onto the affected skin. Naturally, you can also ingest the softgels.
Snail Cream
Snail cream is one of the most used creams for fading scars, thanks to the natural presence of allantoin, glycolic acid (hydroxyacetic acid), collagen, elastin, proteins, and vitamins.
