Bulking agents (extra virgin olive oil), softgel capsule (bovine gelatine, glycerol, water), vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol).
Take 1 softgel daily. Take with sufficient water and swallow the softgel whole.
Maximum dosage:
The risk of vitamin D toxicity with hypercalcaemia and hypercalciuria only increases at dosages above 250 mcg per day (10,000 IU/day) or a calcidiol blood level above 220–250 nmol/l. It is useful to know that the effect on vitamin D status of exposing the whole body to an amount of sunlight that causes slight reddening of the skin (minimal erythemal dose) is comparable to an oral dose of vitamin D of approximately 10,000–25,000 IU.
Dosages higher than 15 micrograms are not suitable for children under 10 years of age.
