I've been taking this Super B Complex for about 4 weeks now, (together with the Multi Woman) and I do notice some difference in energy, but it will probably take a while longer before the difference is more noticeable. You can easily open these, making them easier to take.
Due to a vitamin B deficiency, this was prescribed to me and I notice that it does me good.
The amount of vitamin B6 is deliberately kept low so that the dose remains well below the safe upper limit used in the Netherlands.
Permitted health claims:
- vitamins B1, B3, B6, B12, folate, and biotin contribute to normal psychological functioning (such as concentration, memory, and learning ability)
- vitamins B2, B3, B5, B6, B12, and folate have a positive effect on reducing fatigue
- vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12, and biotin help release energy from food
- vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6, B12, and biotin are important for the proper functioning of the nervous system
- vitamins B6, B12, folate, and choline contribute to normal homocysteine metabolism
- vitamins B2, B3, and biotin are good for the skin
- choline contributes to maintaining the structure of cell membranes

I already eat quite healthily and with variety. Wouldn't taking this B-complex lead to an accumulation of vitamin B6? Is there a reason why this dosage is so high?

If the liver is not functioning well, which can be due to genetics or excessive medication or exposure to toxic substances, this conversion may not proceed as efficiently, potentially leading to accumulation. The vitamin B6 in our products is in the pyridoxal-5-phosphate form, which is the bio-active form, and is therefore directly absorbed into body cells.
Vitaminstore's Super B-Complex is a potent vitamin B formula with a higher dosage than standard B-Complexes. (The safe upper limit for vitamin B6 is 25mg per day)

However, I've been feeling icy cold all day, especially in my hands and feet. When I don't take the supplement, I don't experience this. Could this be caused by one of the B vitamins, like B6?

However, there are situations where this conversion does not occur or does not occur optimally, such as with absorption issues, lack of co-factors, or various (hereditary) metabolic disorders, which can cause accumulation of inactive forms of supplementation to cause symptoms. The B complex from Vitaminestore contains the vitamins in their bioactive form, so they are absorbed better and faster into body cells. Our advice is to temporarily stop taking this supplement for a few days and then gradually resume when fatigue increases. If you do experience symptoms like tingling, our advice is to stop taking this supplement.
