The saffron extract in the Mood Support contains various active compounds that contribute to the health benefits of the herb. The main active compounds in saffron are crocin, crocetin, and safranal. Crocin is a carotenoid pigment responsible for the yellow colour of saffron. Crocetin is also a carotenoid and, together with crocin, provides the effects of saffron with its health benefits.
