In nature, approximately five hundred amino acids are found. Twenty of these are amino acids that serve as building blocks for proteins in the human body, referred to as ‘fundamental amino acids’. These fundamental amino acids can be further divided into the categories ‘essential’, ‘semi-essential’, and ‘non-essential’. Methionine belongs to the so-called essential amino acids, meaning that the body cannot produce it from other amino acids, and one is entirely dependent on diet to meet daily needs. The methionine not incorporated into proteins by the body can be converted into S-adenosylmethionine (SAMe) through reaction with ATP. This primarily occurs in the liver. SAMe is a methyl donor used in various methylation reactions in the body.
Methionine in the form of SAMe has the advantage that it does not need to be converted first, but is immediately available to the body.

S-adenosyl-L-methionine-disulfate tosylate, anti-caking agent: rice concentrate, vegetarian capsule: pullulan (from fermented cassava starch).
Does not contain:
Gluten, lactose, soy, GMOs, preservatives, and synthetic fragrances, colours, and flavours.
Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
As a dietary supplement for adults, take 1-3 capsules daily between meals (at least half an hour before or two hours after a meal) with water, or as advised.
