Microbiol Trio BaseVitals

This product combines the well-known strains Lactobacillus acidophilus, LA-5 and Bifidobacterium lactis, BB-12, and Lactobacillus rhamnosus, GG, by far the most well-known strain. This has created a superior trio. Microbiol Trio Base contains 3 billion CFU (colony forming units, meaning the number of viable bacteria capable of multiplying and forming a colony). Also available as Microbiol Trio Platinum with 15 billion CFU.

Producer Chr. Hansen
Chr. Hansen is the producer of these bacterial strains and has been responsible for much of the research into these specific strains, also in the combination in which they are now offered. This is quite unique and very important! One bacterial strain (indicated with a suffix such as LA-5) is not the same as another, even if they belong to the same genus (in this case Lactobacillus) and the same species (Lactobacillus acidophilus). Therefore, strain-specific research is particularly telling.

Scientific research
There are more than 1100 scientific publications on the strain Lactobacillus rhamnosus, GG, of which more than 300 are human studies, making it the most researched Lactobacillus strain in the world. The strain Bifidobacterium lactis, BB-12 is supported by 370 scientific publications and 180 human studies, making it the best-supported Bifidobacterium strain. Lactobacillus acidophilus, LA-5 is also very well researched and supported by 150 publications, 60 of which are human studies.

Quality and viability
Chr. Hansen's advanced production process ensures that the capsules are long-lasting in their sealed packaging outside the refrigerator. This is, of course, very convenient in practice and in the shop. Moreover, Vitals has opted for dark violet glass (almost black) that protects the contents from the effects of air, light, and moisture. In addition, there is a moisture-absorbing sachet in the packaging, and the packaging is hermetically sealed with an airtight aluminium seal. About the name Microbiol
The name Microbiol is derived from ‘microbiome’. This is the entirety of all micro-organisms that live on and in our bodies, such as the gut flora. These are the bacteria that have been part of our gastrointestinal tract since birth. These include lactobacilli and bifidobacteria.

Ingredients:

Take 1 capsule per day with water, with a meal or as advised.

When using an antibiotic, it is advisable to leave at least 2 hours between taking Microbiol Trio Base and the antibiotic.

After opening, it is advisable to store the packaging in the refrigerator. During use, when the cap is repeatedly removed, moisture and air can enter the product.
To maintain stability during use, cooling from that point on can be beneficial. Unopened, the product can be stored perfectly at room temperature.
