Citrus bioflavonoids for better absorption of vitamin C
Bioflavonoids are plant nutrients also known as vitamin P. Citrus bioflavonoids are found, among other places, in the soft white part under the peel of citrus fruits. Unfortunately, during cooking, vitamin P disappears from our diet by 70 to as much as 90 percent. Supplementation is therefore far from an unnecessary luxury.

Research also shows that vitamin P ensures 35 percent better absorption of vitamin C. Citrus bioflavonoids also ensure a slower absorption of ascorbic acid and reduced excretion via urine.
