Citrus bioflavonoids for better vitamin C absorption
Bioflavonoids are plant nutrients also known as vitamin P. Citrus bioflavonoids are found in the soft white part under the peel of the citrus fruit. Unfortunately, during cooking, vitamin P disappears from our diet by 70 to as much as 90 percent. Supplementation is therefore far from a superfluous luxury.

Research also shows that vitamin P provides 35 percent better absorption of vitamin C. Citrus bioflavonoids also ensure slower absorption of ascorbic acid and reduced excretion through urine.
