Easy to take
We supply SilSolutions as standard with a handy measuring cup. This plastic cup has a dosage line every five millilitres, up to a maximum of 30 millilitres. So your SilSolutions dose is always accurate to the millilitre!

SilSolutions by Vitakruid is a high-quality silicon product with no less than 70 mg of elemental silicon per measuring cup (20 ml). 

A good addition
Our silicon intake is often too low. Among Western populations, the average daily intake of this mineral is between 20 and 50 milligrams. An additional issue is that silicon present in food is absorbed at an average rate of only 40.9%.

Certain foods do contain high levels of this ‘wonder mineral’, such as bananas. The dilemma with many of these food sources, however, is the form of silicon present, which is not absorbed by our bodies. A well-absorbed silicon supplement is therefore a welcome addition to your diet!

Exceptionally bioavailable
SilSolutions consists exclusively of organic silicon. The use of this form of silicon is scientifically supported. In the 2009 study by Sripanyakorn et al., the absorption of silicon from various dietary and supplement sources was compared. This study shows that the uptake of organic silicon is significantly higher than the uptake of other forms of silicon.

Moreover, the organic form is absorbed into the bloodstream the fastest, with a peak in blood serum already visible after 30 minutes. The graph below shows that organic silicon was better absorbed into the blood compared with, for example, choline-stabilised orthosilicic acid.

Liquid form
Hydrolysis is the name of the process in which a chemical compound is split through the uptake of water. Silicon is an element that is extracted from a solid source in this way. Two molecules are then formed: silicon in a small molecular form bound to the large molecule H2O, in other words water.

Supplements in solid form—tablets, powders or capsules—can therefore never contain the well-absorbed silicon in the small molecular form. The associated H2O molecule is simply removed from the compound. That is why SilSolutions by Vitakruid is only available in the bioavailable, liquid form!

Ingredients
Purified water, Vitamin C (ascorbic acid), Silicon (elemental), citric acid (acidity regulator), natural apple flavouring, nettle extract (urtica dioica herba). Excipients: potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate. SilSolutions contains approx. 3.5 g elemental silicon per litre.

Take 20 ml in the measuring cup in the morning on an empty stomach. Do not allow the solution to come into contact with metal or glass, as the availability of the silicon may be slightly reduced.

Safety
Store SilSolutions at room temperature (15–25°C) and out of direct sunlight. Do not place in the fridge or in the immediate vicinity of electromagnetic devices!
