In our bodies, collagen is an essential form of protein, making up about 30% of our total protein mass. In the animal kingdom, collagen is the most prevalent protein, ranking number one. You can find this protein in various types of tissues, such as your skin, muscles, tendons, blood vessels, and cartilage. Until the age of 25, we produce collagen ourselves, but after that, its production gradually decreases. This decrease leads to a reduction in skin elasticity and the appearance of the first wrinkles and fine lines. Fish collagen is the perfect supporter in this regard!

Collagen is always sourced from animal origins. The most popular sources are fish and cattle, with the former being the base for this collagen supplement. Fish collagen is one of the purest forms of collagen and is hydrolysed using enzymes from the skin and bones of fish. There are different types of collagen. Our bodies consist of about 90% type I collagen. Our fish collagen primarily consists of type I collagen, meaning it largely corresponds to the collagen in our bodies. Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins. There are 22 amino acids, each with its own specific function. Collagen contains 18 different types of amino acids. Proline, glutamine, and glycine have the largest share (approximately 45.6 percent).

Our fish collagen is a source of pure protein and represents a good amino acid profile (see image 3). Thus, the key components of collagen, glycine, proline, and hydroxyproline, are abundantly present. Our collagen peptides also consist of a high amount of glutamine. Additionally, our product contains 8 of the 9 essential amino acids.

With fish collagen, one might think the product has a noticeable fishy taste. After many weeks of testing, we have developed a fish collagen that has virtually no fishy aftertaste. Additionally, the scent is neutral, and you do not run the risk of fishy burps.

Our fish collagen comes in a fine powder form, making it easy to consume. Due to its fine structure, it dissolves quickly in your drink (hot or cold). Thus, there are no lumps. The collagen remains intact up to temperatures of about 80 degrees. When the temperature exceeds this, its efficacy may decrease. Usage
Take 1 scoop per day. Preferably use for 25 consecutive days. Then take a 5-day break. Highly soluble in (lukewarm) drinks (200 ml - 300 ml). After stirring, let it stand for 5 minutes for optimal dissolution.
