Can this be taken together with a spoonful of unsweetened applesauce? From what age? And can it be given during breastfeeding? I have the impression that my baby is also reacting to gluten as I have already eliminated cow's milk, yet she is still restless and spitting up a lot.
On 07 april 2020 by Customer serviceIt is better not to take DPP-IV with food, as if the food contains proline-rich proteins, these will be broken down by DPP-IV. This may reduce the effectiveness of the supplement when the actual food is being digested. It is best to take the capsules with a little water. If this is very troublesome, you can take the DPP-IV capsule with a bit of applesauce. For children under 12 years, half of the recommended daily dosage can be used. For babies, we recommend starting with an even smaller amount and then gradually increasing to half of the adult dosage.
