Viridian Travel Biotic is the ideal travel companion for long journeys. This probiotic contains 10 billion viable microorganisms of Saccharomyces boulardii.
The yeast owes its name to the French scientist Henri Boulard. Boulard became acquainted with the yeast during a stay in Southeast Asia in the early 1920s.
The yeast naturally occurs on the skin of lychee and mangosteen fruits and was used by the local population as a probiotic. They would chew on the skins of lychee or make tea from them.
