I once bought them for their health benefits and also let my children try them. Most children want nothing to do with strange, unusual foods. Fortunately, mine do. I don't force them, and it’s their own curiosity that makes them want to try. They always want to taste everything, and now my youngest only wants mulberries. The jars go quickly... That saves some biscuits and unhealthy food. I am a happy mother.
I didn’t know what it was. I bought it because of its high vitamin B2 content. I take a handful in the afternoon like a handful of peanuts. They taste quite good. So, a healthy snack.
