I wish I had discovered maple syrup earlier as a sweetener, it's healthy, very tasty, and absolutely reasonably priced.

Usage

Maple syrup is well-suited as a sweetener in various baked goods, apple sauce, stewed pears, fruit salads, puddings, muesli, and yoghurt, on fruits, ice cream, pastries, and pancakes. It can also be used as a sweetener in tea or coffee.

Warnings

Vitamin B6:

Per daily dosage up to 3 mg of vitamin B6: This dietary supplement is not suitable for children under 1 year.
Per daily dosage more than 3 mg of vitamin B6: this dietary supplement is not suitable for children up to and including 3 years old.
Per daily dosage more than 5 mg of vitamin B6: this dietary supplement is not suitable for children up to and including 10 years old.
Per daily dosage more than 7 mg of vitamin B6: this dietary supplement is not suitable for children up to and including 17 years old.

Legally required warnings

Vitamin B2

Vitamin B2 can cause a (completely harmless) yellow discolouration of urine.

Vitamin B6

Prolonged daily use of this amount of vitamin B6 may cause mild tingling or numbness in the limbs.
