PhytoFresh on Terranova’s products means that the crops, vegetables, fruits, and herbs are freshly freeze-dried.
Terranova’s ingredients mainly come from the certified farm; Eclectic Institute. Here, the ingredients are harvested by hand at peak levels before being freeze-dried. Peak level means that plants are fully matured before being harvested. This is done by hand to ensure the plants remain intact and are not damaged by machinery. The plants are then freeze-dried within the hour. This means that all liquids, the water, is sublimated out. Thus, only the complex structure of the plant remains, including vitamins and minerals. By applying this process, the beautiful, nutritious structure of the plant is preserved longer and only needs to be lightly ground into powder.
