Ingredients
Main ingredient: Zinc oxide
Other ingredients: Purified water, paraffinum liquidum, paraffin, lanolin, sorbitan sesquioleate, microcrystalline wax, benzyl benzoate, synthetic beeswax, sodium benzoate, benzyl alcohol, propylene glycol, benzyl cinnamate, lavender oil, linalyl acetate, BHA and citric acid
Apply Sudocrem with each nappy change. Ensure your baby's bottom is clean and dry. Sudocrem is easy to apply and does not stick to the nappy. Use only a small amount of cream and rub it in with small circular movements until a light, transparent film is visible. If the skin remains white after application, you have applied too much Sudocrem.
Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
If local skin irritation occurs, if you notice no improvement, or if your symptoms worsen, please contact your doctor.

Can it also be used for itching?
On 06 march 2025 by Customer serviceSudocrem may provide relief if the itching is due to a rough, irritated skin. If the itching is caused by something else, an ointment might be more effective. Ointments often last longer because they are greasier than creams.
Can you use this for shingles as well?

However, shingles is a viral infection that requires medical treatment. It is important to visit your GP if you have shingles, as antiviral medication may be necessary.
Sudocrem can be used to soothe and protect the skin, but it is not a substitute for medical treatment for shingles.
