I've been using these digestive enzymes for several months now, and they truly make a difference. I had to have my gallbladder removed, and now my body struggles to absorb vitamins.
Absolutely wonderful
At many online shops and stores, this product is difficult or even impossible to obtain. Fortunately, at Vitaminstore, it's almost always in stock.
I find they taste absolutely disgusting as soon as they touch my tongue, and whether they do their job well is still difficult to assess, but I will certainly continue with them and am curious about the long-term results.

Good evening, I am undecided between Digestive Enzymes by Solgar and Glutozyme by Vitakruid. I am currently taking probiotics separately.

I misread the label on the jar. I thought I had to take them with every meal. So, I ended up taking three per day for over three weeks. Is that a problem?
On 06 november 2023 by Customer serviceNo, that's not a problem at all. It's acted more like a detox rather than aiding your digestion. I suggest you stop taking them for now and, if needed, start again with just one tablet a day after a break of two to three weeks.
Hello Vitaminstore, In the past, I tried Betaine HCL and experienced many side effects. I would like to try the Enzymes to help my food pass through my stomach more efficiently. It tends to stay there too long due to a stomach prolapse, and I have to use macrogol and electrolytes daily as a laxative. However, I am noticing a lot of hair loss. I want to try the Enzymes to see if they have any effect. Do Enzymes also have side effects? Thanks in advance, Kind regards, Sharon

Given your side effects from Betaine HCl, it is possible that you are sensitive to it and there is a good chance you might notice something with this product as well.
Are these suitable for vegetarians? Or should I opt for the vegan version?

Dear, Can I use the digestive enzymes for a long time, let's say chronically? Also, I have a question about whether I can use Solgar's betaine HCL alongside this. The enzymes also contain betaine. I am doing this now, but am I not overdosing? I want to use both extensively, so three times a day for both. I want to stop with the proton pump inhibitors. Kind regards, Heike.

It is important to consult with your specialist/doctor about stopping the proton pump inhibitors and using these digestive enzymes with betaine HCL.
