Silicon, also known as silica, is a chemical element with the symbol Si and atomic number 14. It is a dark grey metalloid. Silicon was first identified by Antoine Lavoisier in 1787.

For plants, silicon is essential for building cell walls. After oxygen, silicon is the most abundant element in the Earth's crust. The Earth's crust consists of 25.7% silicon in its various compounds. Silicon, or silicic acid, is an important nutrient for the human body and is mainly found in the bones, skin, artery walls, spleen, tendons, muscles, adrenal glands, pancreas, liver, kidneys, heart, thyroid, and thymus. The main food sources of silicon are whole grain products (except corn), mushrooms, and the skins of fruits.

Composition per daily dosage of 2 capsules:
50 mg (organic elemental) silicon
