S-adenosyl-L-methionine (SAM-e) is a sulphur-containing amino acid.
SAM-e plays a significant role in sulphur metabolism and is essential for the production of glutathione, the primary intracellular antioxidant.
SAM-e also contributes to the synthesis of DNA and RNA, phospholipids, carnitine, taurine, cysteine, creatine, polyamines, hormones, and neurotransmitters.
SAM-e is primarily produced in the liver from the essential amino acid methionine and ATP (adenosine triphosphate).
This tablet is enteric-coated, meaning it is not dissolved in the stomach, allowing the active ingredients to be optimally utilised in the intestine.

Usage
1 tablet per day, half an hour before a meal.
