Bio-Fibre contains a combination of soluble and insoluble fibres from sugar beets, which increase bowel volume.

Dietary fibres are important for good health. The Dutch Health Council recommends that adults consume around 30 to 40 grams of dietary fibre per day. This amount is based on the effect of fibres on bowel function. Most people consume less fibre than this recommended amount. Dutch adults eat between 18 and 23 grams of fibre per day (men slightly more than women). The advice is to eat at least 200 grams of vegetables, 2 pieces of fruit, about 5-6 slices of wholemeal bread, and 200 grams of potatoes/wholemeal pasta or rice/legumes per day. This way, you get a good amount of fibre.

For those who do not meet these amounts, there is the option to supplement the diet to the recommended amount with a good supplement.
