In the Netherlands, there is naturally not much iodine in the diet. Therefore, it is added to table salt (Jozo), bread, bread substitutes, and some meats. Vegetarians and people who eat little bread, no iodised salt, and little or no fish are at risk of getting too little iodine. Kelp is known as a natural source of iodine.
Contains no yeast, sucrose, synthetic preservatives, synthetic colours, fragrances, or flavourings.
Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

I have been using the kelp tablets for about a week now. They work excellently, much better than those from another shop.
Kelp is a great product if you eat little or no bread, to supplement your iodine deficiency so that you achieve normal thyroid function and energy metabolism.
Not used long enough to say anything about it.
The taste of this supplement is less pleasant, but that applies to all brands. What’s great is that they are easy to swallow because the tablets are small.
When I had an overactive thyroid, I was prescribed this by a naturopath. The palpitations and severe sore throat disappeared within a few days, and I felt much better overall! I still use it regularly as 'maintenance'. Very happy with it!

Do these tablets contain a standardised 150mcg of iodine? I've read online warnings that you can never be sure exactly how much iodine is in kelp, and that one tablet might contain much more than another?
